Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
- Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
- Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatments or activities for ongoing care planning
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces
- Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to assist with mobility or transfers safely
- Support patients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer’s disease or dementia through engaging activities and attentive supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to develop or update personalized care plans
- Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR certification requirements, and infection control standards such as HIPAA compliance
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for residents or clients
- Assist with transportation or community outings as needed while ensuring safety at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home health, hospice care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately
- Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer’s disease or dementia preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely using proper techniques or equipment such as Hoyer lifts
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and families
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and dedication to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and care plan adherence
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends or overnight shifts as needed

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
