What You Will Be Doing

  • Strong leadership role with a focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiency.
  • Provide customers with an exceptional user experience through on-time delivery, industry-leading service, and overall product quality.
  • Foster a positive and safe work environment, promote teamwork, and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Dispatch and batch orders while directing a team of highly trained team members / drivers.
  • Coordinating all aspects of operations, including, but not limited to administering plant and fleet maintenance programs, inventory management and procurement protocols.
  • Facilitating compliance on all quality systems related to producing and transporting ready mix concrete.
  • Set and monitor Operations KPIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and locations to implement best practices, streamline process, and drive operational excellence.

The role involves a strong focus on safety leadership, operational coordination, employee management, and operational efficiency, with an emphasis on promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations. Additionally, effective communication, coaching, and counseling are vital for supervisors to enforce safety rules and promote safety initiatives.

What We Would Like From You

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in a technical field.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate a loader required.
  • Exceptional leadership and operating skills.
  • Previous experience in dispatch and operation of a batch plant.
  • Knowledge of the construction and ready-mix industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
