Job Description
FCC Electrical is an open shop, multi-trade, specialty contractor serving Atlantic Canada. Kennebec Construction Services Limited’s three main operating divisions include: Construction Management, Electrical Contracting and Communication Cabling.

We are currently accepting applications from Apprentice Electricians interested in joining our established Fredericton-based team.

Our electrical project teams typically work a 4-day week — 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday — giving you long weekends most weeks.
Fridays, weekends, evenings, and out-of-town travel may be required depending on project needs (all travel fully compensated).

What You’ll Learn & Do
Working alongside and under the guidance of a Journeyman Electrician, you will learn how to:
- Read and understand drawings, circuit diagrams, electrical code, and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using proper testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, wiring, fixtures, and controls.
- Install PVC, EMT, and galvanized steel conduit systems.
- Install and repair distribution equipment such as switchboards, panelboards, and disconnect switches.
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Education & Requirements
- High school diploma or Grade 12 equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to travel and work away from home (hotel stays may be required; travel costs compensated).
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
