The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Senior Process Engineer on a permanent basis on our Major Projects team to work on-site in Regina, SK.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the execution of complex engineering projects, applying advanced technical knowledge to independently manage design, development, and implementation activities.
  • Provide expert recommendations on process design improvements, work procedures, and technical methodologies, resolving multifaceted engineering challenges using RAGAGEP principles.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to assess engineering deliverables, address specialized technical inquiries, and influence project direction and outcomes.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements for budget, schedule, safety, and quality, while contributing to technical and economic analyses that impact capital and operating costs.
  • Conduct research and apply industry best practices to enhance engineering standards, improve operational efficiency, and support innovation across projects.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making by authoring key project decision records and supporting the negotiation of complex vendor and supplier contracts.

The Team: You will work directly with 2 other Senior Process Engineers, 1 Process Advisor, and will report into the Senior Process Engineering Lead.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in engineering and:

  • Have 8+ years of related process engineering experience in a heavy industrial setting.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a P.Eng designation with APEGS (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and RAGAGEP principles.
  • Are skilled in communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
