The ERP Coordinator oversees the efficient operation and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource

Planning (ERP) system. They work closely with various departments to ensure the system meets

business needs, resolves technical issues, and coordinates/implements process and system

improvements. This role is critical for optimizing business processes and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for distribution staff regarding ERP issues, provide ongoing user training, and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and/or process issues, coordinating with IT teams for complex technical problems.
  • Coordinate updates and facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth integration and workflow.
  • Ensure data accuracy within the ERP system (e.g., inventory levels, order status, etc.) and generate reports for management analysis and decision-making.
  • Identify gaps and translate those needs into actionable plans for the technical teams.
  • Validating system functionality meets business needs and recommends necessary process improvements or system customizations.
  • Participate in testing (User Acceptance Testing), and provide critical feedback to the project team, essentially evaluating the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed changes from an end-user perspective.
  • Develop and maintain ERP-related documentation.
  • Support the daily operation, stability, and integrity of the ERP system within the distribution environment.
  • Utilizes data driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies and develop optimization strategies.
  • Establish work practices standards/instructions/metrics to improve overall performance, ensure inventory accuracy, streamline handling, maximize productivity, and promote efficient material flow and utilization.
  • Support and administration of company policies and procedures.
  • Must be available to work off shifts during system integration as needed.

Qualifications

  • Detail oriented and ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Self-driven, results oriented and motivated to work effectively without direct supervision.
  • Experience leading small teams (10-15) in a distribution/warehouse environment – 3+ years
  • WMS/ERP implementation and proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Demonstrated organization skills, good time management skills, strong analytical and data driven problem solving skills.
  • Experience in collaborating across multiple departments.
  • Familiar with and proficient with MS Office, Outlook, Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides, etc.)

Education, Experience, Licenses/Certificate / and skills to perform the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit/stand/walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally in an office setting
