Plumber 412 at Olymbec

Olymbec is currently looking for a plumber to join our team. The plumber will play a key role in the installation, modification, repair, or maintenance of plumbing systems in our industrial and commercial buildings.

The plumber will be under the supervision of the Team Lead. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on potable water systems, drainage, sewer, sanitary ventilation, and hot water heating (hydronic heating) in buildings or construction projects;
• Repair or replace pipes, valves, water heaters, faucets, etc.;
• Unclog drains and detect leaks or pressure problems;
• Read and interpret plans and specifications to carry out work according to building standards;
• Conduct pressure tests and leak detection before commissioning;
• Follow building codes and safety standards rigorously;
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• DEP; Plumber;
• Must have a CCQ card (journeyman or apprentice) issued by the CCQ, code 412;
• At least 3 years of experience as a plumber in a commercial and industrial setting;
• Knowledge of applying mathematics, chemistry, and physics concepts, as well as plumbing and heating systems, and reading blueprints.
• Must have a valid driver's license;
• Be autonomous and meticulous;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity required;
• Must be able to read and communicate in French.
