Please note: this role will be located in-person in Fredericton, NB.
You as a Quality Lead will:
- Develop, oversee, and evaluate Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP) as well as Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)
- Perform audits and subsequently address identified action items
- Review and interpret contracts, specifications, drawings, and provide concise comments
- Assess potential future risks and formulate comprehensive mitigation strategies.
- Independently review drawings and specifications for compliance
- Implement the quality program across various project types (residential, commercial, industrial, etc.)
- Confidently to escalate issues with the quality program
- Foster innovations and implement them into the quality program
- Be capable of independently organizing and leading internal and external meetings
- Support in the training and assistance of colleagues
- Evaluate employee performance either through informal assessments or during formal review sessions
- Manage and maintain the relationship with clients and present the company in a professional manner
- Maintain ownership of the quality program when dealing with the client
- Clearly communicate information about the quality program in various situations
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of construction operations
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the construction industry (preferably ICI), and familiarity with quality management systems and practices
- Ability to champion and lead the effective implementation of operational best practices, project quality plans, risk management strategies, and quality assurance/control activities
- You are a self-directed, motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
