Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Planner for our AtkinsRéalis Canada division, with experience in the engineering sector to lead mandates and projects related to electricity and renewable energy sectors. The project offices are located in Montréal, but occasional site visits are required.

Your Role

  • Support project management and clients in developing capital project schedules throughout the various phases of the project: preliminary, design, and execution.
  • Assist cost and planning experts in preparing proposals for various types of contracts.
  • Produce periodic reports on progress status, earned value, and key performance indicators, and recommend corrective actions under management supervision.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project budgets, record and analyze actual costs, and produce rigorous cost forecasts.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field (OIQ registration preferred).
  • 15 years of experience in planning all phases of the project life cycle, from feasibility to execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of P6 and other planning and project control tools, software, and systems (MS Project, Tilos, Ecosys, Aconex, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and interest in broader assignments for continuous development.
  • Knowledge of AACEI recommended practices and other related documents.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, fluency in English and French.*
