The West Vancouver Community Services Department has an immediate opening for a casual Badminton Instructor.

Reporting to the Program Coordinator, Arena and Sports the ideal candidate has extensive experience working with a variety of ages including children, youth, and adults, is comfortable teaching a variety of skill levels and is available to teach on Mondays, Fridays and/or Wednesdays after school. Applicants must also have the physical ability to carry out the duties of the position and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will possess basic first aid certification. Knowledge of the rules and techniques of badminton is required; previous experience instructing badminton, coaching certifications and advanced first aid certifications would be considered assets.

The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check and a copy of their credentials.
