Job Summary & Key Responsibilities A part-time academic is required to teach HIST 3500.03 The Rise and Fall of the British Empire in the Winter 2026 Term (1 January–30 April, 2026). This online course may be taught asynchronously.
The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching grading and administration of the class. In addition, the part-time academic is to be available for two hours per week outside of class time for student consultation. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the History Department
Qualifications/Requirements of Position Candidates must possess a PhD in History or a related field. Research expertise in British History is strongly recommended
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
Additional Information All offers of employment as a part-time academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
