Marketing Specialist, Webinars

Safe Software is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join the Product Marketing Team to play a key role in leading our Webinar Program. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for moderating and organizing both live and pre-recorded webinars for our wide customer base. This role involves ownership of webinar logistics, planning, marketing, communications, and post-webinar analysis. You’ll also have the opportunity to showcase your on-camera presence by hosting introductions and moderating live Q&A. The role is highly cross-functional, offering collaboration with team members in Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support.

Because we serve customers worldwide, we do our best to accommodate a variety of time zones. As part of this, you may occasionally start your workday as early as 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time (typically once per week), with the benefit of finishing earlier in the day. As our global presence grows, the webinar program continues to expand, including pilot sessions in additional time zones a few times per year. On these occasions, you may be required to work outside of regular hours for up to 2 hours.

About The Team

Our marketing team is dedicated to creatively and effectively communicating our brand's values and offerings. We aim to engage and connect with our target audience, driving brand awareness and business growth. Through innovative strategies, collaborative efforts, and a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs, we strive to position our company as a leader in our industry. Our focus is on delivering compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with our audience and support our company's objectives

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be working closely with the Marketing and Support Specialist teams, and key stakeholders in coordination of our webinar program, with responsibilities that include:

  • Draft our webinar calendar quarterly based on company and marketing department key themes, strategic objectives, industry trends, and suggested user webinar topics.
  • Lead the planning and execution of live and pre-recorded webinars, from scheduling and content development to hosting introductions, moderating, and ensuring a smooth experience for worldwide guest speakers.
  • Develop engaging webinar content and materials, including slide decks, graphics, titles, and descriptions, while maintaining brand standards and storytelling consistency.
  • Host webinar planning meetings and create webinar briefs in collaboration with presenters to capture key details (topic, objectives, audience, logistics, deadlines, deliverables, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Community, Marketing Communications and Creative Services teams to support webinar promotion (newsletters, social media and paid ads).
  • Provide sales with detailed Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) reports following each webinar, including key insights to support sales follow-up.
  • Analyze results from webinar campaigns to determine conversion rates and identify opportunities for growth.

Key Characteristics

  • We have fun under pressure. While producing live events with many moving pieces (for hundreds of attendees!), we are able to enjoy the experience, stay organized, and deliver results.
  • We are intelligent communicators. We are able to transform complex ideas into straightforward stories, be it an email, webinar, slack message or calendar invite.
  • We make ourselves available. Our world wide audience means that we often are running live webinars at 8:00 am Pacific-time.
  • We produce content. We don’t just sit on story ideas, we make them happen. If we have free time, we are editing recordings and finding ways to reshare past material.
