Electrical Technologist at AtkinsRéalis

Overview

Your role

• Interpret and work with various types of electrical design documentation, including elementary diagrams, cable block diagrams, loop schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Review and comprehend cable routing drawings to support installation and maintenance activities.
• Maintain and update electrical wiring records using the IntEC database system.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in electrical documentation.
• Establish and maintain interfaces with other internal groups, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain high standards related to final product quality.
• Identify continuous improvements to processes.
• Participate in meetings with other internal and external groups.
• Clearly communicate with the Design Engineers and Technical Leads to ensure accurate and comprehensive understanding of the electrical needs are understood.
  
  

About You

• Technologist diploma (Electrical), Electrical Technician certificate or equivalent based on electrical experience.
• Experience with Electrical and Controls drawings and documentation
• Experience with IntEC wiring database or On Line wiring would be an asset.
• Electrical design\integration of automation control systems.
• Preference for some experience working in a nuclear power plant.
• Effective communicator within a large team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet your deliverables.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experiences working safely and within a quality program.
• Travel as necessary.
