The Opportunity
Do you love the idea of meaningful work that serves an often-overlooked community? Do you enjoy working hard with high standards while being part of a team? The Hastings Building is in search of a custodian to join our team. The goal of our custodians is to make a great first impression with a clean, shiny, safe, and welcoming environment. Our reception, hallways, bathrooms, and public spaces must be thoroughly cleaned daily. This is where you would come in.
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
We are hiring three part-time (15 hours per week) and two casual positions. The starting hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.60 - $21.42. The working hours are on Saturdays and Sundays, with the possibility of including public holidays as required. For a copy of the full job description, please click here.
