What you will do:
- Collaborate with pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians (RPTs) to accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions using manual and robotic systems.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
- Prepare medications for dispensing, including counting and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims and managing patient records.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
- Support central fill operations, including prescription fulfillment and inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems.
- Understanding of pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
- Experience with robotics and central fill operations is preferred.
