We are currently seeking a driven, detail-focused, and people-first Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to help lead our dynamic operations. In this role, you will be a key leader on the floor, setting the stage each day to ensure our service environment is polished, efficient, and welcoming for both members and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of the dining room, lounge, food outlets, and member events
• Supervise, train, and support service staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism
• Set the stage for exceptional service by preparing the floor, guiding the team, and ensuring all areas meet Royal Glenora standards before service begins
• Maintain a strong floor presence and engage with members to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and event teams for seamless service delivery
• Address member inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Support planning and execution of club functions, private events, and seasonal offerings
• Uphold and enforce club policies, safety procedures, and grooming standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of supervisory experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or private club environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead by example and motivate a team
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to outstanding service
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and event coordination
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• ProServe / alcohol service certification (as required)
• Successful completion of a background check
