Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of the dining room, lounge, food outlets, and member events
- Supervise, train, and support service staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism
- Set the stage for exceptional service by preparing the floor, guiding the team, and ensuring all areas meet Royal Glenora standards before service begins
- Maintain a strong floor presence and engage with members to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and event teams for seamless service delivery
- Address member inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Support planning and execution of club functions, private events, and seasonal offerings
- Uphold and enforce club policies, safety procedures, and grooming standards
- Must have 2+ years of supervisory experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or private club environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead by example and motivate a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to outstanding service
- Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and event coordination
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ProServe / alcohol service certification (as required)
- Successful completion of a background check
