The Test Environment Lead will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and optimizing test environments across development, QA, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a Test Environment Lead with a strong technical foundation and hands-on experience in DevOps-driven environments.
Key responsibilities include defining and implementing environment management processes, ensuring proper environment usage within CI/CD workflows, and maintaining alignment with testing and deployment activities. The lead will oversee testing processes, defect management, and the execution of quality standards across various methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
The role requires deep understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, automation frameworks, test metrics, and reporting. The candidate should be adept at system analysis, troubleshooting, and supporting software applications end-to-end.
Expertise with tools such as Client ALM/Quality Center, Confluence, JIRA, and testing utilities such as Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Postman, and SoapUI is mandatory. The Test Environment Lead will also be responsible for interpreting reports, driving continuous improvements, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
