Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support applications running on mainframe systems.
Work extensively with JCL, PROCS, TSO, ISPF, z/OS, and IBM utilities.
Program and enhance applications using COBOL and SAS.
Work with mainframe data structures including VSAM and DB2 for data extraction and manipulation.
Review data, write SAS scripts, and generate reports using SAS technologies.
Provide production support and handle job abends across mainframe batch systems.
Lead high-profile incident responses, coordinate resources, and ensure timely communication with internal stakeholders.
Offer systems support, perform security reviews, and complete routine maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with client support teams and work in fast-paced operational environments.

Qualifications

610 years of professional experience in mainframe development and support.
Strong hands-on experience with JCL, COBOL, DB2, SAS, VSAM, and IBM utilities.
Experience supporting critical batch systems and handling production incidents.
Ability to lead incident resolution efforts and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Strong analytical, debugging, and system troubleshooting skills.
