About The Position
RWDI is seeking an energetic and motivated Intermediate Scientist/Engineer to join our Environmental Noise & Vibration team in Ontario. This role supports clients across the buildings, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant field experience, with a strong background in environmental permitting and the land use planning process in Ontario. Depending on experience, the successful candidate may also be considered for a supervisory position within the Environmental Noise & Vibration team.

About The Position
RWDI is seeking an energetic and motivated Intermediate Scientist/Engineer to join our Environmental Noise & Vibration team in Ontario. This role supports clients across the buildings, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant field experience, with a strong background in environmental permitting and the land use planning process in Ontario. Depending on experience, the successful candidate may also be considered for a supervisory position within the Environmental Noise & Vibration team.
The Role Includes, But Is Not Limited To
- Take a client-focused approach, using your technical expertise to support the success of client projects.
- Execute field monitoring programs and ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
- Prepare detailed noise propagation models to support project assessments.
- Develop comprehensive reports to support land use planning, EASR, and ECA submissions.
- Contribute to environmental assessment studies and documentation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with eligibility for P.Eng registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Environmental Noise and Vibration.
- Candidates without P.Eng eligibility but with strong relevant experience may also be considered.
- Availability to work in person at our Guelph, Toronto, Ottawa, or Windsor office.
- Valid driver’s license required.
