Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications, this role is an ideal opportunity for an early-career marketing and communications professional (approximately 2–5 years of experience) who wants to work broadly across brand, marketing, design, and digital channels within a nimble team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications, this role is an ideal opportunity for an early-career marketing and communications professional (approximately 2–5 years of experience) who wants to work broadly across brand, marketing, design, and digital channels within a nimble team. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of polished, modern, and effective materials that enhance our brand visibility in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, draft, and execute external communications including client announcements, press releases, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
- Design visually compelling assets such as brochures, social graphics, presentation decks, event materials, and digital collateral.
- Assist in managing and growing our social media presence—especially LinkedIn—by writing posts, designing visuals, and scheduling content.
- Maintain brand consistency and uphold visual standards across all external touchpoints, including correct logo use, colour palette, typography, and layout.
- Edit and produce short-form videos for events, social media, and corporate storytelling.
- Support website content updates, landing page improvements, and analytics tracking (WordPress, Elementor experience an asset)
- Assist with planning and executing external events, webinars, and sponsorship activities, including invitations, promotional materials, registration support, and coordination.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including blogs, commentary, whitepapers, and partner content.
- Help maintain marketing systems, asset libraries, and templates.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in marketing, communications, design, or related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored to professional audiences.
- Proven skills in visual communication and graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva required).
- Experience developing polished presentation decks in PowerPoint.
- Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, ClipChamp, or similar).
- Familiarity with social media best practices, particularly LinkedIn.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude and the confidence to test and learn.
- Excels working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
- Familiarity with AI-powered marketing workflows; ability to leverage emerging technologies for content creation and campaign optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Interest in financial services or capital markets an asset but not required.
- Be a central part of a fast-growing, high-impact team with broad exposure to leadership and strategic projects.
- Take on diverse, creative work across design, digital, content, and events.
- Help shape and evolve the brand of a modern, innovative financial services organization.
