The Opportunity
Our Human Resource Strategy and Execution team is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Calgary to support Contingent Workforce Program Office, reporting to a lead in Canada.
We are seeking a strategic and highly skilled Program Coordinator with deep knowledge of contingent labour and/or a strong background in Supply Chain (SC) or Human Resources (HR). This individual will demonstrate expertise, accountability, and independent judgment to manage complex and nuanced situations around the management and governance of contingent workers. The role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with senior leaders, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of contingent workers, ensuring smooth onboarding, compliance, and timely offboarding.
- Field and prioritize requests from hiring leaders for external resources through SAP/Fieldglass, phone, and email with urgency and accuracy.
- Partner with suppliers to meet resourcing needs proactively, maintaining strong relationships and accountability.
- Support hiring leaders with job postings, candidate screening, and interviews when required.
- Maintain SLAs with professionalism and deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and execute initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and client experience.
- Act as a change champion—supporting change management activities and helping stakeholders adopt new processes.
- Develop talking points and guidance for the team to use with clients when communicating changes.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor program health, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Conduct rate reviews, policy reviews, and provide analytical support for decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leaders on program performance, risks, and improvement strategies.
- Consider upstream and downstream impacts when implementing process changes to avoid unintended consequences.
- Navigate unique situations where no established process exists, applying independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Apply strong governance principles and integrate legislation, tax, policy, and audit requirements to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and mitigate organizational risk.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and manage difficult conversations with senior leaders confidently.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders including our internal legal, tax, audit, technical, and supply chain partners to support contract worker management, technical solutions, and supplier performance management.
- 2+ years experience in contingent labour program office, working with Fieldglass or other vendor management system (VMS), or with a contingent managed service provider (MSP);
- 2+ years experience in SC working with contracts, processing invoices in SAP;
- Working understanding of HR labour laws, talent management, and compliance frameworks;
- Expertise in policy review, audit support, and governance practices
- Working knowledge within SAP and/or workday personnel records;
- Experience with Power Bi or similar data modelling tool; and/or
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)
- Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training may be required (estimated up 5% of work schedule)
- Overnight stays away from home base may be required (estimated up 5% of work schedule)
- Possess, or be eligible to receive, a valid passport and maintain travel eligibility for Domestic, Cross Border, and International Travel (including the USA and Mexico)
