Remuneration: $23.35 - 26.40 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Education Assistant to join our team in Maple Ridge for the 2025–2026 school year. This position involve supporting a student with some personal care needs through flexible in-home learning support (4 hours per week, two - 2 hours shifts).

The role primarily focuses on assisting students with daily care tasks to help them access learning opportunities comfortably and safely. You will work under the supervision of educational staff and collaborate with therapists, parents, and special education professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support students with therapy follow-up activities, virtual programming, and home-based learning.
• Carry out life skills lessons designed to meet each student's unique needs.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, therapists, the InclusiveEducation Coordinator, and parents.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow health and safety protocols.
• Uphold student dignity, confidentiality, and Christian values in every interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Education Assistant certification or equivalent experience is highly valued.

• First Aid with CPR Level C are a required
