Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Ticketing Manager and within established policies, procedures and guidelines, the Ticketing Administrator, working under the guidance of the Ticketing Manager will complete changes and developments to the ticketing operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for set up, pricing, configuration, testing and troubleshooting of ticketing products and providing general support to the user group.

Key Activities

  • With the support of the Ticketing Manager, acts as subject matter expert for the Accesso Ticketing system and provides tier 1 support for Accesso users throughout the organisation for day-to-day troubleshooting.
  • Under the guidance of the Ticketing Manager, oversee administration of the ticketing point of sale system including product configuration, user review, user creation, permissions, access controls, dynamic pricing, discounting, timeslot and capacity management, admission ticket development, receipt printing, confirmation (and other) developed letters etc.
  • Participate in programming and deployment of hardware (scanners, POS, receipt printers, ticket printers etc.) in alignment with budget commitments.
  • Work with Business Development / Operations / Finance / Marketing / Group Sales / IT for new or changing ticket products.
  • Create and modify items/products using the ticketing software to meet business requirements.
  • Develop expertise in the creation / analysis of ticketing reports.
  • Develop listings as required for sale through the Accesso online store.
  • Collaborate with Online Travel Agent partners to support product integration.
  • Working with the Ticketing Manager, participate in any required testing to implement ticketing software version upgrades.
  • Communicate ticketing changes / processes, as required to ticketing stakeholders.
  • Participate in training opportunities to update knowledge of changing ticketing product features, and the point-of-sale system (of record) roadmap.
  • Creates and maintains documentation for user manuals as well as for configuration purposes.

Credentials Required

  • Completion of a College and / or University Degree in Commerce and/or Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience with ticketing as it relates to the attractions, travel, and tourism industry or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Strong attention to detail is critical.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including effective presentation skills, good organizational and planning skills.
  • Professionalism with ability to act with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Project Management Certification and an Ecommerce Associate Certificate or equivalent is an asset.
  • Experience with ticketing solutions (specifically with the Accesso Ticketing System) would be an asset.
  • Experience in ecommerce, online ticketing, online stores, and ticket sales is an asset.
  • Experience in SQL SRSS to produce ticketing reports is an asset.
  • Experience with Google Analytics is an asset.

Performs Other Related Duties

  • Working with the Ticketing Manager, provides input to plan for future ticketing requirements, licensing, hardware (POS, Boca Printers, Receipt Printers, Scanners etc.) in preparation for budget planning.
