Salary range (in British Columbia): $67,800 – $93,200

Shape the world around you – join our Buildings team in British Columbia as an Electrical Engineer-in-Training. You’ll contribute to projects that define tomorrow’s sustainable buildings and energy systems, working alongside experts who are transforming communities.
Your Impact
- Design electrical systems for commercial, institutional (healthcare), and industrial buildings that prioritize energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to integrate innovative electrical solutions into building designs.
- Support the preparation of drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for high-profile projects.
- Apply emerging technologies and standards to deliver safe, reliable, and future-ready electrical systems.
- Contribute to projects that enhance occupant comfort and reduce environmental impact across BC communities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and eligibility for EIT registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
- Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code and building systems design principles.
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and Revit; exposure to power distribution and lighting design tools is an asset.
- Passion for sustainable design and interest in smart building technologies.
- Healthcare facility experience is considered an asset, including knowledge of specialized electrical systems for hospitals or clinics.
- Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn from senior engineers while contributing to meaningful projects.
