Who We Are Looking For

Reporting to the Director, Pricing within the Wireless team, the candidate will be directly responsible for the development, management and execution of key pricing strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Define, develop, and evolve above and below the line price plan strategy on a specific segment of the market and/or our customer base, particularly the Fido to Rogers interbrand rate card
  • Outline, update, and communicate guiding principles pricing strategy
  • Leverage established frameworks to clearly explain how chosen strategies will impact the performance of key metrics (subscribers, hardware spend and ARPU in)
  • Manage hardware price charts to support dynamic tiered device pricing for acquisition and hardware upgrades
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, Base Management and Prepaid on synergies between segments
  • Produce and present materials on pricing programs on a frequent basis to secure alignment and approvals through standard governance forms
  • Execute regular promotional programs including above and below the line rate plan programs
  • Continuously evaluate offers to ensure market competitiveness
  • Understand and socialize various upsell levers including calling features, data, long distance, roaming and others
  • Measure performance of pricing programs vs forecast & business case
  • Present insights to peers & senior management with recommendations on how to improve pricing strategy
  • Perform ad hoc projects as required

What You Bring

  • An undergraduate business/commerce degree
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and understand concepts, multi-task,
  • investigate issues, solve problems, promote efficiency/automation, make decisions, manage processes, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent and proven analytical skills, exceptional problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, and perform well in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to exercise a high degree of business judgment and sound reasoning
  • Demonstrated strong customer service orientation, interpersonal, and communication (written/verbal) skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Technical aptitude with regard to wireless products and technologies
  • Enthusiasm and passion for business is a must!

This position will require weekend work as needed.
