About The Role
As a Content Coordinator, you’ll power BWZ’s content engine—the core of our business— by directly producing new content and updates using our in-house AI and automation technology. Reporting to the SEO Content Manager, you’ll work inside systems to generate, refine, and QA content across multiple publications, ensuring every piece is accurate, helpful, SEO-optimized, and delivered on schedule. You’ll translate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), templates, and format standards into consistently excellent output at scale, while supporting freelance contributors when needed.
Beyond day-to-day production, you’ll help evolve the systems behind our content by identifying edge cases, surfacing recurring issues, and sharing insights that improve prompts, templates, and workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured processes, loves creating clear and engaging content, and is excited to help shape the next generation of AI-native editorial operations
What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

This full-time position is available as either a remote or hybrid position (depending on location), with an annual salary in the range of $55,000 to $65,000 CAD. The range is a guide for the expected skills, knowledge and experience for new hires based in Canada only. Seniority level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. This means ranges will vary for candidates based outside of Canada and/or at different seniority levels. In addition to annual salary, full-time employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
Produce New Content at Scale
- Produce high-quality across BWZ publications using in-house automations, SOPs, templates, and formats
- Maintain strong output velocity while upholding accuracy, clarity, and SEO requirements
- Identify recurring issues, edge cases, or blocker patterns and surface them to the SEO Content Manager
- Manage and collaborate with freelance Content Producers (as needed) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
- Meet monthly and quarterly upgrade targets
- Apply scaled upgrade workflows using in-house technology and automations to improve clarity, structure, and SEO performance
- QA all upgrades for alignment with format, UX, SEO, and internal linking requirements
- Implement new SOPs, prompt changes, and structural improvements as necessary
- Surface insights from upgrades (quality gaps, ranking blockers, recurring issues) to inform future improvements
- QA all assigned content—new and upgraded—to ensure accuracy, readability, SEO alignment, and brand consistency
- Ensure visuals, CTAs, internal links, and structural elements are implemented correctly
- Monitor performance of published content to identify quality or UX issues and share findings with the SEO Content Manager
- Collaborate with the SEO Content Manager to uphold the integrity of each content format and implement improvements at scale
- Content Production & Velocity: The volume and consistency of new content and upgrades you produce each month—measured by your ability to meet or exceed publishing targets for your assigned formats while maintaining high quality
- Organic Traffic Impact: Growth in organic traffic to the content you produce or upgrade, with a focus on driving meaningful increases in GA Users across priority pages
- Keyword Rankings: The number of published pieces that achieve top 3 rankings for their primary target keywords, demonstrating strong execution against SEO and format standards
- 1+ years of experience in content production, content coordination, editorial operations, or a similar role
- Strong writing, editing, and QA skills with attention to accuracy, clarity, and structure
- Familiarity with SEO principles and on-page best practices
- Ability to follow detailed SOPs, templates, and workflows with consistency and precision
- Comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) as part of a structured editorial process
- Experience with tools like WordPress and Airtable (or willingness to learn)
- Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple pieces of content simultaneously
- Proactive at identifying issues, patterns, and opportunities for workflow improvements
- Interest in AI-native editorial systems and scaling content production workflows
- Background in SEO writing, content marketing, or operational editorial work
- Familiarity with visual standards, internal linking frameworks, or structured content formats
- Experience using tools like Ahrefs, Clearscope, or other SEO/AI writing assistants
- Experience working with freelance writers or contractors
