The Role
Heavy Equipment Technicians work Monday to Friday with occasional overtime opportunities. Your expertise will be key in ensuring first-time-right diagnostics and repair of, but not limited to:

The Role
Heavy Equipment Technicians work Monday to Friday with occasional overtime opportunities. Your expertise will be key in ensuring first-time-right diagnostics and repair of, but not limited to:
- Allison transmissions
- Detroit and MTU Truck and Industrial engines
- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician.
- 2-3 years relevant experience
- Safety focused
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Keep your work areas, benches, and toolboxes clean and organized
- Proven ability to work with customers, demonstrating exceptional customer service
- Mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with on-highway truck/coach maintenance and repair are assets
- Coordinating with supervisors, administration, and workers, for the purpose of completing all work orders efficiently and effectively
- Work under limited supervision, leading, guiding and working with others, as required
- Fill out required paperwork. This would include forms such as work orders, hazard assessment sheets, daily time sheets, and repair lists
- Test, troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, and replace parts and equipment/controls as required
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of all equipment or assets
- CVIP license is preferred but not mandatory
- Class 3 Driver's license with Air Endorsement is preferred, but not mandatory
