Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher at Royal Glenora Club

The Royal Glenora Club is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward to join our team.. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure dishes, cutlery, and buffet equipment are clean.
• General cleaning - mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, cleansing, polishing
• Operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Handle food-grade cleaning supplies safely.
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Perform general cleaning tasks like mopping and scrubbing.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout shift
• Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning or food service experience is a plus but not required.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to stay composed under pressure.
• Physically fit for the demands of the job.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk throughout your shift.
• Lift and carry items up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Occasional kneeling and pushing
