We are seeking a skilled Power BI Report Developer for a 6-month contract to support a ReportsNow to Power BI migration project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and developing Power BI Paginated Reports, as well as expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server, and T-SQL. This role involves converting existing ReportsNow reports into Power BI Paginated Reports and ensuring seamless integration with our BI environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate existing JD Edwards ReportsNow reports to Power BI Paginated Reports.
• Design, develop, and maintain new and existing Power BI Paginated Reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures for report development.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices in reporting.
• Work with IT BI team to integrate reports with existing data models.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report performance and data integrity.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with Power BI Paginated Reports and SSRS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Experience with relational database design and data modeling concepts.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver clear, actionable reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI Desktop and DAX.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD for BI solutions.
• Prior experience with ReportsNow or similar reporting tools.
