Residential / Commercial division for IKO. This role will manage area between Ottawa and Quebec with routine meetings monthly in either Ottawa, Gatineau or Montreal locations.
Location: Greater Ottawa Valley, with required travel between Ottawa Ontario and Montreal Quebec
Compensation: Base salary of $70,000–$85,000 per annum, complemented by an annual bonus structure

Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with design professionals to ensure our client’s products are specified in project manuals.
- Collaborate with commercial contractors and distributors to secure the use of our client’s products in forthcoming projects.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities while fostering demand within assigned and prospective accounts.
- Deliver professional product knowledge training sessions, including lunch-and-learn presentations.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key product specifiers, consumers, and decision-makers in the assigned market.
- Conduct site visits, implement quality control measures, and prepare detailed written reports as required.
- Represent our client at industry association events to promote their innovative product portfolio.
- Candidate MUST be fully bilingual
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or a related field.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to undertake occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to climb ladders and manage multiple priorities independently.
- Preferred: Experience in roofing or building envelope solutions; a college or university degree, ideally in Roofing, Construction Technology, or Construction.
