We are looking for a highly skilled Associate Director, Data Analytics and Systems to join our Investments Division, specializing in Data Analytics and System integration. This role is central to enabling our investment operations through advanced analytics, robust data solutions, and effective system management. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure our investment processes are powered by reliable, scalable, and secure data platforms.

The base salary for this position is between $52,800 - $97,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). What you will do:
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze complex investment datasets to deliver key insights for portfolio managers and senior leadership.
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Enable data-driven decision-making by collaborating with investment, finance, and business teams.
- Automate reporting and analytics processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support recurring and ad hoc analytical needs for investment operations, including annual loan production, borrower and tenant exposure, asset diversification, risk assessment and compliance reporting.
- Manage and optimize investment systems (e.g., mortgage system, data Lakehouse etc.), ensuring accurate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
- Oversee system access governance, performance, maintenance.
- Assist with incident management, enhancements, access reviews, and audit for investment system.
- Support system-related initiatives such as upgrades, new system rollouts, and integration projects.
- Present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Provide training and support on BI tools and system best practices, continuously refining materials for better adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal data and system solutions, driving efficiency and scalability through continuous improvement.
- Promote innovation by recommending process enhancements and automation to optimize workflows.
- Degree or Diploma in related discipline (Data Analytics, Computer Science, System Integration, Finance, Business Computing, Business Analysis etc.) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau); and Python is an asset.
- Working knowledge of data platforms and cloud technologies (Databricks, ADF, AWS etc.)
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and security practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and drive changes in data analytics and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated through excellent communication skills, working effectively within a team environment.
- Background in business analysis related to systems in commercial banking, mortgage lending and/or commercial real estate experience would be an asset.
