Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6,100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region. PEACE WAPITI PUBLIC SCHOOL DIVISION - CENTRAL OFFICE is seeking candidates who enjoy working in a student-focused and collaborative environment. We invite applications for a Permanent Part-Time Receptionist.
The successful candidate must be a team player who enjoys an ever-changing busy work environment. The individual will have exceptional telephone and other communication skills, and will be proficient with computers and software programs. The individual will be highly organized, have a positive attitude and professional demeanor. An excellent work ethic is essential. Previous office experience is preferred. The work schedule roughly follows the school year calendar (approximately 43 weeks). The work schedule is Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with Christmas Break, Spring Break and approximately 6 weeks in summer off.
Qualifications:
- Basic Records Management: maintaining paper and electronic filing systems, maintain and update various forms, lists, calendars, etc.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Google.
- Must be comfortable learning new software
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills
- Punctual, dependable and responsible

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $ 20.98/hour to $28.14/hour.
