We’re looking for an Maintenance Support Summer Student to join our all-star team. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:

Here is a sample of what your workdays may look like:

  • Assist with general maintenance activities across facilities and grounds.
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment.
  • Support routine inspections and basic repairs under supervision.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely as directed.
  • Assist in landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and debris removal.
  • Transport supplies and materials to designated locations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

What you bring:

Required

  • Enrolled in a degree or diploma post-secondary program.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the work site.

Preferred

  • Candidates residing in or near Fort St. John, BC, due to the on-site nature of the role.

Salary Range:

$43,680 - $60,320. Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the students field and year of study.
