Reach Forklift Operator – Experience Required at Grand River Personnel

On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is searching for an experienced Reach Forklift/Order picker operator to work in Breslau to start immediately. This position has the opportunity for permanent employment with a great company that offers Benefits, RRSP matching and more.

The location is NOT ACCESSIBLE BY BUS, the selected candidate must have their own reliable vehicle.

MUST HAVE VALID CERTIFICATION (not ‘in-house’) FOR BOTH REACH AND ORDER PICKER LIFT TRUCKS WITH A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE OPERATING THESE VEHICLES

Shift: Afternoons: 4:45 PM – 4:15 AM – Monday – Thursday

(To train on day shift for two days – 8:00am – 5:00pm)

Pay Rate: $23/hr

Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment / Order Picking of regular and rush orders
• Use of WMS and ERP Systems (Experience required)
• PO Transfers, picking, re-labelling, updating systems
• Load/Unload trailers
• Use of various lifting devices (Reach, Order picker, pallet jacks)
• Kitting, packing, sorting, use of optical sorting machine
• Support Running Packaging Machine
• Support Running Optical Sorting Machine
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Reach Truck, Order Picker Forklift license
• Advanced computer literacy (ERP, WMS, Microsoft office, web-based platforms)
• Fantastic attention to detail and accuracy
• Minimum 1 year experience with Reach and order picker
• Must be able to pass a driving test with the client
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Strong Work Ethic, positive attitude, Excellent attendance
• Self-Starter, Team player, Quick Learner
• CSA Approved Footwear
• Reliable transportation, as this position is not on a bus route.
