What You Will Do
- Assist in campaign/project scoping in marketing quarterly in-take process by clarifying and aligning with business clients on campaign/project objective, target and exclusion criteria, file format, etc.
- Provide customer profiling with demographic, geographic and psychographic insights through 1st and 3rd party data
- Automate routine list pulls and routine Power BI reports to improve efficiency
- Provide analytics consulting services to support marketing strategy & planning of ‘Target the right customer using the right product through the right channel at the right time’
- Remain involved in the campaign design phase and scope out the business analytical needs/challenges
- Provide expertise in campaign experimental design (test vs. control), statistical significance, etc.
- Support data literacy and ensure analytical results’ interpretations and implementation are correct
- Identify opportunities for integrated solutions, incorporating qualitative and quantitative insights by working with the Research team
- Identify data gaps, new data opportunities and process enhancement opportunities to meet ever-growing business needs
- Provide business use cases and propose recommendations to the Marketing Data & Analytics team for new data/process integration into Marketing Analytics Datamart (MAD)
- Document new analytical methodologies and best practices in the Marketing Analytics Handbook and share knowledge with the rest of the team
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Commerce, or Analytics areas
- Minimum 5 years of database marketing by using SAS/SQL
- Minimum 5 years of marketing analytics for campaign list pull, reporting or customer profiling
- Experience with Power BI required
- Experience in analytics consultation with 3rd party data such as Environics Prizm is an asset
- SAS Certified Advanced Programmer (SAS 9) certification is and asset
- Demonstrates strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills using a systematic and sequential approach
- Ability to maintain accuracy and thoroughness in work, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
