As VRIFY scales rapidly, operational execution of AI client work is essential to ensure an exceptional customer experience and timely delivery of deliverables & results. The Project Manager, AI Geoscience role is central to ensuring that the AIG Team and our clients are well supported to achieve success.
The Senior Project Manager, AI Geoscience ensures on-schedule implementation of AI onboarding projects for our global roster of mining clients and ultimately drives our professional service outcomes, client satisfaction and engagement. While reporting to the COO they are embedded within the AI Geoscience Team and collaborate directly with the Chief Geoscientist to maintain regular communication with VRIFY’s geoscientists around delivery of projects.
Working closely with the VP, Client Delivery & Chief of Staff, they will coordinate alongside other Client Delivery teams, Business Analysts, Sales Associates, and Product & Development teams to highlight opportunities for process improvement and team enablement, professional governance compliance, and to facilitate change management relating to the evolving product and customer journey.

Who you are:
- Client-centric with a client-first mindset and approach to all interactions both internal and external.
- A geoscience professional with tangible mineral exploration experience (early stages through to initial testing, ideally in both domestic and international jurisdictions)
- A deep understanding of geospatial and mineral exploration data: its collection, QA/QC, analytical methods, and interpretation/analysis.
- An experienced, highly organized and process-oriented project or program manager, flexible enough to respond to a quickly changing environment.
- Data driven, comfortable with project and service KPIs and able to drive team performance based on these.
- An exceptional communicator: Mature, confident and sensitive to the needs of clients (internal and external) of all abilities.
- Creative, self-starter willing to jump in feet first and energize others with passion, quality, and commitment.
- A natural coach, providing timely, relevant, and meaningful feedback to elevate employee performance and contributions.
- Direct agile project management of multiple concurrent geoscience projects (e.g., new client onboarding, client maintenance, client training coordination), maintaining accurate records, clear visibility via PM tools and dashboards for all stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams to build efficient processes and systems to deliver high-quality, high-value VRIFY results and training to our clients, identifying and subsequently troubleshooting delivery issues or blockers.
- Collaborate with our Sales, Client Delivery, and Product & Development teams to forecast project and resource requirements for any client- requested professional services engagements; work alongside Chief Geoscientist to ensure AI Geoscience team bandwidth is balanced with other team priorities.
- Assist in AI Geoscience Team hiring processes as needed, providing leadership with strategic insight into hiring timelines and requirements.
- Provide best practice guidance and direction to the AI Geoscience team on project management strategies and ensure adoption of new processes and tools.
- Support AI Geoscience leads in fostering a collaborative, intellectually safe, and positive team culture that strives toward excellence.
- Document internal processes, templates and documents to build a scalable PM infrastructure to create a smoother and repeatable customer experience.
- Handle customer escalations from your team and help to bring them to a successful conclusion or escalate to leadership as needed.
- While professional geoscience registration is not required for this role, it does require collaboration with the Chief Geoscientist (and others) on documentation and compliance, (e.g. EGBC reporting).
- Prepare and present updates on client project KPIs and metrics to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences or a related field
- 7+ years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years in project management, operations, or logistical roles supporting technical teams; strong preference for experience in client service/consulting and/or technical delivery of a software product.
- A deep understanding of geoscience/geospatial data and its sourcing/compilation/validation/ and QAQC relating to the mineral exploration industry.
- A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and leading others by example.
- Experience implementing agile project management software (e.g., Asana) to track project execution, monitor team bandwidth, and track KPI’s.
- Demonstrable track record delivering projects and process improvements.
- Startup-ready mindset: pragmatic, resourceful, and energized by solving problems in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- A bias towards action and a strong drive for continued learning and development.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Strong ability to develop long-lasting relationships with clients and executive sponsors.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Additional Education/Certification/Licensing centring around Project Management (i.e., PMP Certification)
- Experience in tech/SaaS industries is preferred; familiarity with AI-driven or data-centric organizations is an advantage.
