Server – hockey for all center at True North Sports + Entertainment

The Press Box Server will be working with a team to ensure the sale of food and beverage, and exceptional customer service to customers at hockey for all centre.

What to be excited for in this role:

• Seek to provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and guests.
• Responsible for the set-up of equipment related to the sale of food and beverage.
• Verify inventory before and after each shift, and support set up and breakdown of work area.
• Uphold open communication with all working teams.
• Ensure supervisor is informed of issues that arise, and support resolutions.
• Support proper inventory control, cash handling, cleanliness, equipment operation, and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked working environment.
• Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.
• Ensure supervisor is informed of issues that arise.

What we need from you:

• Familiarity with POS systems and digital registers.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to communicate with all patrons, customers and coworkers.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently solve customer concerns with the utmost professionalism.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Current Smart Choices Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance.
• Provide own transportation as the hockey for all centre is not located near bus routes.
