Job Title: Financial Analyst

Your role is important. It supports the organization’s financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will be responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial analysis. Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit tax and government-related filings.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of a perpetual inventory system
• Assist in itemizing expenditures related to inventory, including freight, duties, and vendor rebates.
• Analyze overhead costs, contract margins, and markup structures to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Calculate annual labour and overhead rates to support cost planning and margin analysis.
• Prepare weekly payment schedules and ensure time-sensitive payments
• Support budgeting processes
• Monitor daily cash balances and prepare cash flow reports
• Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives and deployment of new financial systems (e.g. CRM, ERP)
• Contribute to the development and documentation of internal control processes
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• BComm and CPA designation or pursuing
• 4+ years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience
• Experience in public accounting or audit is highly desirable
• Prior experience in manufacturing or inventory-based environments preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with ERP systems and CRM platforms
• Comfortable working with large datasets and financial systems
• Clear, professional communication across all levels
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Compliance
