The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Consultant provides expert level financial modeling, analysis, interpretation, and strategic recommendations to support management decision making and evaluate the financial impact of organizational initiatives. The role contributes to the achievement of the organization's strategic and financial objectives through comprehensive analysis, forecasting, and planning. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, coordinate the development of annual financial plans and forecasts, and provide insights that drive performance efficiency and informed business decisions.

How You Will Create Impact
- Partner with the business unit management team to provide financial insights, forecasts, and analysis that drive strategic and operational decision making.
- Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts, including business cases and profitability assessments to evaluate financial impact.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to deepen the understanding of cost drivers, resource allocation, and overall financial performance.
- Lead the preparation, review, and accuracy of cost allocations, ensuring transparency, consistency, and alignment with financial support models.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and memos that deliver clear analysis, recommendations, and insights to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth variance, trend, and industry analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers influencing results.
- Enhance financial planning and reporting processes by identifying information gaps and implementing effective, data-driven solutions.
- Promote financial literacy and collaboration across teams through education, presentations, and consultative support
- Coach team members to strengthen analytical skills, foster efficiency, and lead process improvements with well-documented financial practices
- You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.
- You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
- You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
- You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.
- A University degree in business/finance/accounting, mathematics/actuarial sciences, or a related discipline.
- 7-9 years of experience in Finance and/or Insurance industry
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Holding an accounting designation is required (CA, CGA, CMA or CPA).
- Advanced spreadsheet, reporting/budgeting software and data warehouse tool knowledge
- An in-depth understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and interpretation of data to support effective decision-making
