Duties:
This project is part of a larger SSHRC-funded project on Age-Friendly Communities in Manitoba. Duties for this position will include helping with REB applications, literature reviews, liaising with community contacts, and report writing. Duties will also include data collection through interviewing older adults and professionals in Manitoba. Other duties may include helping to maintain and create content for a website. Tasks will also include other relevant duties, as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
Ideally a Masters-level prepared student, or similar research experience. Experience preparing ethics applications and conducting data collection. Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with communicating information to various audiences via written or visual formats is an asset. Candidate should ideally have knowledge and understanding of working with older adult populations and community organizations.
