Cleaner (On-call) at Edon Management

We’re hiring On-Call Cleaners to help maintain clean, safe, and professional facilities across Edmonton. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values reliability, and enjoys contributing to a positive environment.
As an On-Call Cleaner, you’ll support our operations team by filling in when regular staff are away or when extra help is needed. You’ll perform general cleaning duties such as disinfecting surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, restocking supplies, and ensuring workspaces remain tidy and welcoming.
Each shift brings something different, and you’ll play an important role in keeping our sites safe and comfortable for employees and visitors alike.

What does your day look like at Edon?
- Maintain facility cleanliness in accordance with Edon Management’s standards and contract requirements
- Respond quickly to urgent clean-ups to keep spaces safe and presentable
- Handle light duties like dusting, polishing, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning
- Take on deep-cleaning tasks such as stripping and waxing floors, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and moving furniture when needed
- Maintain washrooms to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- Safely collect and dispose of waste in line with facility requirements
- Represent Edon in a professional and friendly manner as a first point of contact for tenants and clients
What do you need to succeed?
- Basic understanding of English (reading and writing)
- Previous cleaning experience considered an asset
- Strong customer relations skills
- Valid Driver’s License and owns a personal vehicle to drive to site
- Ability for night shift schedule
