We are seeking a Supervisor, Operations Planning & Scheduling to provide visible leadership for Westcoast Limited Partnership’s planning and scheduling team. This role is critical to ensuring safe and reliable operations through effective maintenance practices and equipment health monitoring. You will lead the implementation and sustainment of programs and strategic priorities, working closely with regional managers, area supervisors, and technical teams to optimize planning and scheduling processes.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and mentor the Area Planning and Scheduling team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee Work Management standards and practices, ensuring alignment with Enterprise and GTM requirements.
  • Optimize annual and long-range work plans to minimize customer impact.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate scheduling and execution.
  • Drive excellence in:
    • CMMS (SAP/Maximo) workflows
    • Work Management KPIs
    • Asset health monitoring and performance analysis
  • Support project planning and scheduling, including scope development, resource optimization, and critical path analysis.
  • Ensure team resources, tools, and training are available and effectively utilized.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (2-year technical) with 7+ years related experience OR 10+ years maintenance experience.
  • Qualified Trades person or Engineer with at least 5 years in planning and scheduling.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead through change.
  • Proficiency in Maintenance alongside Equipment and Asset supervision.
  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP/Maximo) and scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6).
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of formal or informal leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of CMMS architecture and Asset Management programs.
  • Familiarity with procurement practices and BOM utilization.
  • Knowledge of oil/gas pipeline operations and LEAN methodologies.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based (80%) with field visits (20%).
  • Occasional travel for emergencies, training, and regional meetings.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures and high-noise environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Physical Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
