We are currently seeking a full-time Residential Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our tenants and the upkeep of our properties.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Experience
Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of equipment, such as HVAC systems and appliances.
- Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to urgent maintenance requests to minimize inconvenience to tenants.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of work performed, maintenance reports, and inventory of replacement parts.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe living environment for residents.
- Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement maintenance improvements to optimize operations and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with property managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Technical Skills: Drywall installation, plastering, and painting required. Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC is a strong asset.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
