Job Summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketing Associate to join the rare disease team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact therapeutic area within a dynamic, patient-centered organization. The Marketing Associate will play a critical role in supporting the execution of key brand initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally to help drive brand performance, and supporting the team in its strategic and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of marketing tactics aligned with brand strategy, including promotional campaigns, field tools, and digital assets.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and customer insights to help inform strategic planning and adapt tactics as needed in collaboration with Market Engagement Excellence (MEE)
  • Work compliantly and collaboratively with the Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, and Market Access teams to ensure alignment and excellence in execution.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the metrics and dashboards, annual brand plan, and business reviews.
  • Support budget management processes, including invoice tracking and reconciliation.
  • Champion compliance with all internal and external guidelines and policies, including PAAB and IMC standards.

Required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree (science or business related) is required. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical marketing, sales, or a related function.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • High learning agility, self-starter attitude, and strong accountability.
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and innovative mindset, in developing and executing breakthrough marketing strategies, aligned with business goals and compliance regulations.
  • Proficient in analyzing market data, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes and working in a purpose-driven organization.
  • Ability to work in the Toronto office at least 3 days a week.
