- Hold Guaranteed Minimum Funding (GMF)
- Be a student the PhD Education program
- Attend weekly F2F classes, have flexibility in their schedule to meet with students (at various times), and complete tasks as scheduled in preparation for weekly classes
- Research weekly topics/current issues (journal/news articles, blogs, videos, podcasts, etc.) to gather and build on resources.
- Assess student learning tasks and assignments.
- Engage with students in classes (for example, in group conversations).
- Provide feedback (in the context of APA 7th and assignment guidelines, including the Undergraduate Grading System and Descriptions) and writing supports. The GTA should be familiar with the UR Student Success Centre Virtual Writing Hub.
- Navigate the UR Courses Moodle platform to access course resources, provide feedback, send and respond to emails, and complete other course-related activities.

- remaining hours (approximately 80) negotiated with the supervising instructor
