Air Liquide is Hiring for a Branch Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations: Manage retail sales, security, warehousing, and distribution.
Develop store sales and growth: Contribute to the development and execution of sales and merchandising plans, coordinate promotional activities, and manage internal sales and profit margins.
Customer service management: Ensure professional and consistent customer service for all inquiries (products, prices, technical information). Support the sales force and collaborate with external sales to ensure order accuracy and delivery tracking.
Manage inventory: Oversee product stock, dynamic receipts and deployments, and conduct physical inventories.
Ensure operational excellence: Monitor ERP reports, perform daily cash reconciliations, and oversee employee training.
Manage expenses: Control branch operating expenses and work with corporate accounts receivable.
Comply with standards: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for medical gases and medical devices.
Personnel management: Manage and motivate a diverse team (counter sales, warehouse, drivers, customer service).
Continuous improvement: You will participate in improving ways of doing things while respecting our processes, be on the lookout for opportunities to be efficient, and take corrective action when necessary.

Required qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. College diploma or bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in branch operations management and sales. At least five (5) years of experience in the sale and/or distribution of gas and welding products or similar industrial products.
Proven leadership and team management skills, in addition to (2) years of experience, are required.
Preferred qualifications:
Strong customer focus and ability to negotiate effectively.
Analytical mindset and vision focused on continuous improvement.
Previous experience with ERP and Salesforce (an asset).
