As Service Engineer you'll provide technical and production engineering support to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to flight and product safety standards. Develops and implements repair processes, conducts risk and performance analyses, and drives continuous improvement to enhance quality, reliability, and turnaround time. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support new process introductions and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support new process introductions and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
What You'll Do
Immune Specific Accountabilities
- Recognizes and understands flight/product safety critical parts and processes.
- Responsible for immediately reporting flight/product safety concerns.
- Participates in proactive risk analysis of flight/product safety critical parts and processes.
- Recognizes and understands the Just Culture policy.
- Resolves technical problems beyond the scope of the product unit operations group; liaises with manufacturers.
- Creates engine workscopes and prepares detailed work instructions for operations personnel.
- Diagnoses and resolves engine performance challenges through troubleshooting and data analysis.
- Provides support to operations personnel through interpretation and clarification of overhaul data.
- Provides written or verbal technical advice for customers; produces reports relating to product serviceability, repair summaries, warranty, failure analysis or product configuration.
- Creates and justifies changes to overhaul data for continuous improvement of operational procedures.
- Creates and maintains unit build standards and BOM documentation to support repair and overhaul processes.
- Collaborates with and provides technical support to cross-functional departments including quality, materials, and customer service.
- Reviews service bulletins and engine manual changes and incorporates amendments into production.
- Reviews warranty claims and advises management on the disposition of assigned items.
- Provides technical support during the implementation of new processes; specifies tools and test equipment required; assists in training on the overhaul and test methods.
- Advises on repair and improvement schemes together with feasibility studies.
- Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
- Carries out special projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience demonstrating planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, decision-making, and oral and written communication skills, measurable by successful project completion, team management, or prior performance evaluations.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience with manufacturing methods, shop equipment, and machining processes, demonstrated through hands-on work or completed projects.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments, measurable by prior use in inspections, calibrations, or quality control tasks.
- Working knowledge of PCs in the company operating system environment and production management systems, demonstrated through completion of work tasks, reports, or analyses.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, demonstrated by successful completion of assigned manufacturing, repair, or maintenance tasks.
- Thorough knowledge of company instructions, processes, unit build standards, temporary overhaul data revisions, and OEM manuals, measurable through prior work experience or training records.
- Where applicable, registration with the relevant regulatory body or professional association is required.
- University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of directly or indirectly related work experience demonstrating understanding of theoretical principles and concepts relevant to the field and their application in work responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of gas turbine engine and/or accessory theory and performance analysis.
- Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Specialized training is often recognized by a degree and/or professional designation.
