About the Role
As a Senior Regulatory Specialist, you will play an essential role within our Regulatory Affairs team, reporting to Manager, Regulatory.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Interpreting and analyzing regulatory policies, and rate structures;
- Modifying and maintaining regulatory and financial models;
- Preparing and developing new financial models;
- Reviewing and supporting regulatory filings;
- Preparing scenarios and sensitivity analysis incorporating macro and microeconomic factors;
- Leading regulatory submissions; and
- Preparing workplans and leading project teams for regulatory application process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration or equivalent post-secondary education;
- Professional Accounting Designation;
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a regulatory environment;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint; and
- Intermediate knowledge of data analytic software system (i.e., Power BI).

- Strong financial forecast planning, modeling, and analytical skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organizational and project management skills; and
- Strong problem-solving skills.
