Stores Technician – Band 3

The Shift Pattern is; Mon – Fri either 8.00am to 4.00pm or 8.30am to 4.30pm

An opportunity has arisen with West of Scotland Rehabilitation & Mobility Centre (WestMARC) for a Stores Technician, within our Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Wheelchair & Specialist Seating Workshop. WestMARC provides a range of rehabilitation technology services for the West of Scotland, covering 6 health boards delivered by clinical teams to wheelchair and seating patients and prosthetics patients.

You will be required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the safe and accurate storage, retrieval and delivery of wheelchairs and associated parts within the WestMARC Service. You will be educated to SCQF Level 5 or similar and have knowledge/experience relevant to the post.

You will possess a minimum 3 years experience with a proven track record in the field of Stores and Logistic activity. You will be required to hold a full driving licence. It would be desirable to also hold a forklift licence. Good communication, team working, literacy, numeracy and practical skills are essential.

Please be advised that, effective 1 April 2026, the full-time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.
