Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing (Infrastructure and Platforms), we are looking for a passionate, driven and highly organized Sr. Digital Marketing Officer who is looking to make an impact by helping Sunnybrook Foundation lead the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives that generate brand awareness and engage and activate donors.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing (Infrastructure and Platforms), we are looking for a passionate, driven and highly organized Sr. Digital Marketing Officer who is looking to make an impact by helping Sunnybrook Foundation lead the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives that generate brand awareness and engage and activate donors.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
As a Senior Digital Marketing professional, you will:
- Support and implement the digital marketing strategy to achieve goals in fundraising, brand awareness, donor engagement, stewardship, and signature/community events.
- Plan, update, and manage the foundation website using WordPress.
- Support and execute creation and updates to online donation forms
- Oversee and prioritize incoming digital requests across web, email, and other digital channels.
- Lead the execution of digital marketing initiatives across various channels, including web, digital advertising, social media, email, and video.
- Develop and manage tactical project plans for digital campaigns aligned with brand initiatives, funding priorities, and donor stewardship.
- Coordinate and project manage digital deliverables for events, community giving, stewardship, and donor relations teams.
- Contribute to the ideation and execution of digital fundraising and engagement campaigns.
- Collaborate on content creation, including writing, editing and designing for web, email, and other creative assets.
- Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with marketing vendors, internal partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless project execution.
- Be a proactive, committed member of the Marketing team, bringing fresh ideas to the table, troubleshooting issues to find solutions, and supporting team members with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Manage end-to-end project responsibilities, such as:
- Creating detailed project briefs, critical paths, work back schedules
- Establishing critical paths and timelines.
- Securing approvals and maintaining stakeholder alignment through clear communication, meeting notes, and status updates.
- Managing vendor relationships, obtaining quotes, and ensuring projects remain on budget.
- Monitoring performance metrics and reporting on campaign results.
Below are qualifications and competencies we believe the successful candidate will need for this role:
- Minimum 3 year college diploma or university degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in a marketing environment with a focus on project management and delivering digital projects
- Strong knowledge of web publishing best practices for formatting, publishing workflows and governance
- Experience in WordPress or other Content Management Systems and online donation platforms
- Proven knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email marketing/automation platforms
- Familiar with HTML, CSS, Adobe, Canva and other digital media production tools
- Experience online video production and social media marketing
- Understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, UTM query strings or similar tools to support web analytics and attribution
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lead multiple priorities efficiently and accurately
The hiring range for this position is $82,000-90,000. The salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s years of experience, qualifications and competencies that are relevant to this position.
- In addition to salary, our competitive compensation package includes HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan), hybrid work environment with a minimum of two (2) days in office and additional Sunny Days (long weekend closures in advance of summer long weekends and Christmas Eve) for contracts longer than 1 (one) year in length.
