North Horizon Holdings is a Canadian institutional investor with a global investment footprint. We are value-oriented investors in private equity, venture capital, public markets and real estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the books of fund managers, investment funds and their associated entities including drafting & booking journals to accounting systems (eg.FIS, GP Dynamics).
• Assist with quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Organize and maintain supporting documentation for accounting treatments..
• Support the preparation of financial statements and related reports.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, including ASPE, IFRS, and NI 81-106
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and research as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to support finance-related initiatives.
  
  

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and suggest improvements
• Available to begin the role in January 2026, with an expected commitment of approximately 8 months.
